Human resources

The structure: Human resources

The number of people employed by UNI at 31 December 2006 remained unchanged: 111 persons, out of whom 61% are women and 39% are men, and almost all of them (96%) work full time.
The most common contract applied to UNI staff is the open-ended and so it was during this year (97%).
As to our staff’s education level, more than half have a high-school certificate, while a fourth of them have an university degree.
The length of service did not remarkably change compared to last year: the two ranks with longer service (16-25 years, more than 25 years) amount now to about 40% out of the total staff, while the number of people having a service between 6 and 15 years, which is however still the biggest, is continuously decreasing, losing about 17% in the latest four years.
As to UNI employees’ age, about 50% of its human resources are younger than 40.
Finally, the rate of absenteeism was better than last year and was about 1,9%.
