UNI's training sectorUNI's training sector was created in 1993. To respond to demands from the world of production, which was displaying growing interest in gaining greater awareness of the substance of technical standards, UNI set up Centro Formazione UNI, a focal point for meetings and discussions held by people involved in activities associated with standardization and certification. The training organization made a commitment to disseminate the "culture of standardization", which although familiar territory for the technical community is frequently completely alien to the majority of executives. This was to be achieved through the organization of seminars and round tables and, through time, led to a diversification of the offering of training to meet the different requirements for information expressed by the market: information days were therefore accompanied by in-depth courses concerning hot topics and innovative areas of technology, which are held throughout Italy and also in personalized form directly in situ on company premises. To facilitate the investigation of standardization topics in sectors that are of particular importance for the Italian economy, UNI works also with other specialised training operators in specific thematic areas. |
